While the company has only been incorporated since early 2005, Jerry has been making jerky since 1994 for friends and family. Jerry has spent several years refining the marinades and process to be able to offer the best possible Jerky on the market. Jerry decided to create a new standard that did not include cheaping out on marinade ingredients to cut costs. It is becuase of this that the flavor of JGJ is far above and beyond that of competitors. Although there are currently only four flavors available in the market for purchase, there will be additional flavors released into the market in the near future.
